Reviews

We have recently booked this holiday home for 3 nights . The experience was nothing short of horrendous. The house was a health and safety hazard. It was filthy, damp, full of black mould. All the cutlery and crockery had to be washed before use as they were covered in months of grime and dust. The furniture and floors were filthy and stained. The bathroom and bedrooms were stained with black mould. the shower leaked into the dining area, the toilet seat was loose. The bedroom blinds were broken and mouldy. The mattresses, quilts or pillows did not have protectors on them, meaning the items were disgustingly stained with bodily fluids. Every available storage space was filled to the rafters with spare bedding, quilts, hoover, filthy mop and bucket, boxes, christmas trees etc, reducing the space to actually hang any clothing. The back garden and front of house was uninviting, full of weeds and over-spilling rubbish. The hot tub was incorrectly filled with far too much mixture of Chlorine and Bromine, which only became evident once we had got in and switched on the jets. The amount of white froth that overflowed the hot tub, engulfed us and the water turned green. This resulted in us suffering personal and possessional detriment. The home owner was made aware at the time of stay and has refunded £75 via Booking.com. However, this is insufficient to cover the costs of the damage that has occurred to our personal possessions. We now have to get our gold and silver jewellery professionally restored, and purchase new swim wear, therefore £75 will not cover this. Do NOT stay here if you value yourself and your family's safety.
