A lovely stone-built cottage situated in Ingleton, a picturesque village near an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and the Yorkshire Dales National Park. The cottage is ideally located with local amenities on its doorstep and in close range of Yorkshire's Three Peaks. Full of character and charm, the owner has tastefully renovated the cottage matching modern styling with traditional features. Set over two floors, upstairs you will find a delightful master bedroom, single room and family bathroom with a bath, perfect for soaking in after a long day walking in the impressive nearby countryside. The ground floor features a smart lounge, decorated with lots of stylish features and details. The ground floor is complete with a well-equipped kitchen, perfect for preparing a packed lunch for the day ahead or cooking an evening meal. Surrounded by impressive mountains, caves and waterfalls, Ingleton is a real gem of the Yorkshire Dales. There is also plenty to see indoors, be sure to visit the local pottery, artisan shops, country pubs and indoor climbing wall. A local attraction not to be missed is the magnificent limestone White Scar Caves and café just outside the village, with outstanding views of the valley. The area is also home to the famous Ribblehead viaduct on the Settle-Carlisle railway and within a 10 minute drive you can catch the steam train and enjoy a scenic ride, it is also a spectacular site if you are lucky enough to catch site of it travelling over the viaduct. Within half an hour drive you will come across the popular market towns of Settle and Hawes or further afield the Lake District is easily reachable for a day out. This fantastic cottage is in an ideal location for a memorable Yorkshire Dales getaway!

The centre of the village is pretty, with narrow and winding streets centred on a tiny market place. The village's well known White Scar Caves, a mile outside the village on the Hawes road, are open to the public and have a dazzling display of stalactites and stalagmites, caverns and a huge underground lake.
