The Mermaid is a superb property resting on the outskirts of Dungloe in County Donegal. It comes with four double bedrooms, together sleeping up to eight people and serviced by ground-floor bathroom with walk-in shower, bath, basin and WC. Completing the interior is a kitchen/diner with woodburning stove, a sitting room with woodburning stove and a snug with woodburning stove. Outside, there is off-road parking and a decked area with furniture. The Mermaid is a wonderful retreat for exploring the delights of County Donegal.

Four bedrooms: 1 x double with en-suite bath, shower over, WC and basin, 3 x double. 1 x double sofa bed in snug (linen not provided, guests can use at their own discretion). Ground-floor bathroom with bath, separate walk-in shower, basin and WC. Kitchen/diner with woodburning stove. Utility. Sitting room with open fire. Snug.

Please note: Stairs are steep and may not be suitable for persons with limited mobility

Location Details

The town of Dungloe in Donegal rests just 7.5 miles away from Arranmore Island and 32 miles away from Letterkenny. Within the town you will find a superb selection of amenities including a selection of shops, bars and eating places playing traditional Irish music. Throughout the year the town plays host to a number of events including the 'Mary from Dungloe' festival.

The West of Ireland conjures up many images; thatched, whitewashed cottages, a flock of sheep on a narrow road, an emerald green field with a stone wall, or the Atlantic waves crashing into towering cliffs and rocky shores.
