Location Details

The charming community of Gilwern, which is surrounded by the Bannau Brycheiniog National Park (Brecon Beacons National Park), provides visitors with a wide range of services, including quaint shops, pubs, and a fantastic fish and chip store. Nestled between the "seven hills," the ancient market town of Abergavenny, known as the "Gateway to Wales," offers something for everyone with its numerous indoor and outdoor markets, spectacular castle, and museums. A few miles away, the lovely town of Crickhowell is a must-see for all visitors. The magnificent peak known as Sugarloaf offers wonderful walks for all abilities as well as its own winery. This location is wonderful at any time of the year because of the clean mountain air and stunning surroundings.
