Perhaps the highlight of the property is the two acres of private gardens with lawns dropping to the lake shore and private jetty, offering sublime views of Ullswater and towering fells. Follow the footpath around the lake shore and uncover an abundance of natural beauty along the way before returning for a glass of wine amidst this lovely setting. The lake offers a number of outdoor activities, from sailing, windsurfing, canoeing, fishing or perhaps you would like to sit back and take a lake cruise on one of the steamers. Within a short walk there are several eating houses and pubs which are perfect if you don’t fancy cooking one night. The towns of Penrith and Keswick are easily reached and offer a number of amenities from independent shops to fascinating exhibitions and art galleries. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date of the holiday.
