River Dart estuary, renowned and gorgeous South Hams district of South Devon, Dartmouth is located. Dartmouth is a famous tourist destination in Devon because of its location in an area of outstanding natural beauty and proximity to the seaside. On top of all that, there are a number of annual events in the area such the Dart Music Festival and Port of Dartmouth Royal Regatta, as well as the Dartmouth Food Festival held in October every year. The Dart Valley Trail, the South West Coast Path, and peaceful rural lanes abound in and around Dartmouth, making it a great place to go biking or walking. Taking the Dartmouth Steam Railway to Paignton is a must, as is taking the boat to Kingswear and then into the charming harbour town of Brixham.
