Location Details

Fethard-on-Sea is found on the southwest of County Wexford. Boasting a selection of shops and pubs and within easy reach of the ancient lighthouse and multitude of sandy beaches of the Hook Peninsula, this charming fishing village is popular with holidaymakers. The peninsula offers a variety of watersport activities, including diving, snorkelling and shore angling, along with opportunities for birdwatching. Visit the nearby historical attractions of Tintern Abbey, Dunbrody and Graiguenamanagh, plus the star-shaped Elizabethan Fort at Duncannon. Head up to New Ross and visit the JFK Arboretum and the Dunbrody Famine Ship, while Waterford in the west and Wexford in the east both offer a host of attractions that are worth seeing.
