Penrhyndeudraeth is a sizable village with a Post Office, several restaurants, a train station, and access to the Ffestiniog Railway. Portmeirion, the quaint Italianate village made famous as the setting for The Prisoner, is only two miles away, tucked between beautiful beaches and dense forests. A little further on is the port city of Porthmadog, from which you can take the Ffestiniog Railway to Blaenau Ffestiniog, also known as "the town that roofed the world" due to its abundance of slate quarries. Beddgelert, to the north, is a charming village with a charming riverside walk, craft shops, pubs, tea rooms, restaurants, and easy access to Snowdonia National Park, where you can spend hours on foot or bike taking in the breathtaking scenery. Penrhyndeudraeth is a great starting point from which to discover the rest of North Wales, including the Llyn Peninsula and Snowdonia National Park.

Famous for its choirs, stunning mountain ranges and beautiful valleys, this wonderful country has something for everyone. From Snowdonia in North Wales to the Brecon Beacons and the Pembrokeshire Coast in the South.
