Set in a peaceful area overlooking the Eller Beck and the Spring's Branch of the canal as it nears Skipton Woods, this excellent cottage is a short walk from the shops, pubs and restaurants on the town's award-winning High Street. Set over two floors, this traditional dwelling has been renovated to a high standard to provide accommodation full of charm and character throughout. The ground floor features an open plan living area with a superb fitted kitchen and an AGA woodburning stove, perfect for a cosy night in after a day sampling the many walks and attractions in the area. The first floor master bedroom provides a peaceful space to get away in what can be an otherwise bustling town centre, with the canal providing a lovely backdrop to the room. The first floor also offers a stylish bathroom with a modern tiled finish and is complete with a cosy single room. Within a short stroll you will find Skipton Woods, Skipton Castle, a fine range of pubs old and new and the famous canal basin. The town also sits in the perfect location for breathtaking walks in the Yorkshire Dales National Park, with the peaceful village of Grassington under ten miles away and slightly further afield the Three Peaks can be found within an hour’s drive. Other delights of the area include the fabulous Bolton Abbey, the elegant spa town of Harrogate and Ilkley Moor. A wonderful base for a memorable break in the Yorkshire Dales.
