Situated in a pretty destination, close to Lydford Gorge, and a historic village pub and castle ruins. Clearview is a lovely retreat in a heart-warming part of England. Note: Steep stairs leading up to first floor, may not be suitable for those with limited mobility. Location Details
the village of Lydford is a jewel in this area of outstanding scenic beauty. To the north, just half a mile away, the high tors come right down to the village edge, while to the south the River Lyd winds its way through Lydford Forest on its tumbling course northwards. Lydford village has an interesting medieval castle and nearby Lydford Gorge (National Trust) with its woodland walks and White Lady waterfall is a must. The village also has a Post Office, pub and award-winning restaurant.
Devon, with its quiet country lanes, patchwork of lush green fields and sleepy villages is not to be missed. Stately home lovers will be spoiled and why not finish with a scrumptious Devonshire cream tea?
