Steeped in history, the Roman Bath House is less than a mile from your door and worth a visit whether you re a history enthusiast or not. Hop on the La al Ratty Steam Engine and ride the train 7.5 miles to Boot, a great family friendly day out. The heart of Wasdale is 11 miles from home and the valley boasts England s highest mountain and deepest lake where you can jump in for a wild swim. Step up and through the front door to find yourself in the lounge. Take a seat on the sofa or one of two chairs and enjoy the wood burner effect electric fire. Switch on the TV or sit with a book to relax. Make your way into the modern kitchen with a built in fan oven with ceramic hobs, dishwasher and a fridge. Serve up in the dining room where the table seats all guests so you can enjoy time together whilst you eat. Between the dining room and the kitchen is a pantry with useful microwave and freezer. If you need to wash clothes throughout your stay, there is a washing machine near the rear of the house. Completing the ground floor is the family bathroom with WC and shower over the bath.
