For those looking for a spot of excitement, Lingfield racecourse is within walking distance and approximately 6 miles away is the famous Hever Castle and gardens, the former home of Anne Boleyn. Other attractions are Churchill s home at Chartwell and Chiddingstone Castle, both within 9 miles. For a spot of retail therapy, head 5 miles into the nearby town of East Grinstead with its many shops, cafes, and restaurants. The entrance to the cottage leads you into the welcoming hallway that has space for dropping off coats and muddy boots before heading into the open plan lounge/kitchen/diner, which is warm and cosy.
