Upon entering the cottage, you are welcomed to an elegantly decorated open-plan living area, with modern furniture and stylish appliances. In here you will find a luxury kitchen, which has a dishwasher, an electric oven and a halogen hob. Following this is a dining space, perfect for enjoying home-cooked meals and a cosy sitting room, where you can relax on a futon sofa in front of the TV during a winter’s evening. Completing the cottage is a double bedroom, boasting a simplistic and elegant interior design, ample storage and an en-suite, with a double walk-in shower, basin and WC. The cottage is nestled within a fairly secluded area, meaning that the local pub is 1.5 miles away and the closest shop is 7.5 miles. This area is ideal for walkers, with popular routes including the Old Man of Coniston, which is 3.7 mile walk where you will climb through old quarry workings and walk along Low Water, which is a perfect spot for a picnic. Alternatively, you can take a boat trip on the Windermere lake, for a unique experience of exploring the surrounding mountain peaks, the charming villages and woodland areas. For a spot of shopping, then the market town of Ulverston is nearby. Here you will find a good selection of independent shops, local business, cafés and pubs to enjoy.
