With the most wonderful views and some of Northern Ireland's most popular attractions at your front door, this is the perfect bolt hole for a romantic couple seeking a well-deserved break. The cottages are nestled in the heart of the Mourne Mountains which is a designated area of outstanding natural beauty. The mountains are accessed directly from the cottages - no need to drive anywhere so suitable for walkers. Kilbroney Park in Rostrevor has one of the best cycle tracks in Europe and has recently been upgraded. The cottage is also within 10 miles of Game Of Thrones locations. There are a number of areas suitable for both sea and land fishing. We are situated within 6 miles of two different harbour towns - Kilkeel and Warrenpoint. There is a car ferry across Carlingford Lough which can be accessed 3 miles from the cottages. The Car ferry takes you across the lough to the Republic Of Ireland and the Cooley Mountain Area. 1 hour drive from both Dublin and Belfast airport. Just over the border into the Republic of Ireland is the town of Dundalk which is well worth a visit.
