Description

Sail boats bobbing in the estuary, and unique events throughout the year like the summer regatta and the Christmas Fair make Fowey a dream place to get away from it all. Place View gives you excellent views of this medieval town and the estuary below from the front terrace, where there’s seating for six.

The cottage may be traditional, but the interior is comfortably contemporary, with Smart televisions, a very well-equipped kitchen and a roll top bath in the bathroom. The bright and soft decorations create a feeling of space in the summer but are equally relaxing in the winter, with an open fire adding to the warmth and comfort.

Whether you’re enjoying a morning coffee in the garden room or having a last glass of wine on the terrace looking out onto the estuary below, you’ll find yourself soon relaxing into the Cornish pace of life at Place View.

Dining table and chairs to seat six. Sitting room With open fire, comfortable sofas, Smart television and Blu-ray player. Garden room With bench seat. First Floor: Bedroom one With a 4'6 double bed and Smart television. Bedroom two With a 4'6 double bed and television with Freeview. Family bathroom With a roll-top bath and hand held shower attachment, wash basin and WC. Shower room With walk-in shower cubicle. Second Floor: Accessible via narrow staircase. Bedroom three Twin bedroom with television with Freeview and DVD player. Outside: Front terrace with seating for six and estuary views. Small rear courtyard with seating for two, plus steps leading to path at rear of property. Garden furniture and portable charcoal barbecue. One parking space provided in nearby car park (see Additional Information below). Additional Information: Children over five years of age are welcome. Sorry, no pets. There is no parking at the property and the road outside the property is steep and narrow. One reserved parking space is provided on Park Road which is a 10 minute walk away and directions will be provided with your arrival guide. Alternatively, parking is also available in Fowey's main pay and display car park which is a 5 minute walk from the property. Place View is a set on a hillside so please note that travelling on foot from the property to either car park will involve walking up a steep hill.
