Kirkbymoorside is a charming place with a slightly 'old fashioned feel', and visitors will find plenty to keep them occupied in the many tea rooms, pubs and restaurants there. There is even an 18-hole course for golf enthusiasts. The excellent walking and magnificent scenery of the National Park are on the doorstep, and there are many picturesque villages, such as Hutton-le-Hole, close by.
