It provides an ideal base for touring around the national park with Coniston Water being less than 4 miles drive away; it's a peaceful location within easy reach of tourist hot spots and of course plenty of walking opportunities. The open plan living area is delightfully-decorated with charming features and comfortable sofas set in front of a woodburning stove and TV, a fantastic spot to curl up with a good book or watch a film with a glass of wine in the evenings. The kitchen is elegant and well-appointed with a fantastic Belfast sink and modern fixtures and fittings. The upstairs boasts two well-presented bedrooms with delightful bed linen, one with an en-suite toilet as well as a pristine shower room to complete the interior. There are a few lovely village pubs all within walking distance offering good food and some fantastic cask ales for you to enjoy. Coniston Old Man and Lakeland fells provide a magnificent back drop; you can enjoy water sports on Coniston Water, Grizedale Forest for Treetop/Zip Trekking Adventures mountain bikes and woodland walks. Lakeland villages Coniston and Hawkshead are idyllic with shops and cafe's to explore, Windermere and Beatrix Potter's Hill Top. Head south and visit Ulverston town with a wide range of shops, pubs and leisure facilities it is also home to the only Laurel and Hardy museum. There's lots to do the heart of the Lake District and you're only a short distance from enjoying an ice-cream on the beach!

Lowick Green is in the countryside, a few miles from Lake Windermere, three miles from Coniston Water and a mile from the village of Greenodd. Made up of traditional farmhouses, the area has views of Coniston Old Man. Walking, mountain biking and climbing are available as well as the woodland trails at Grizedale Forest. Lowick Green boasts a pub, whilst nearby Ulverston provides a market, an array of pubs and restaurants. All the attractions of the National Park are within easy reach, including Coniston and Windermere, as is the Furness Coast with its beaches and good birdwatching opportunities. An ideal location for enjoying fantastic coastal and countryside pursuits.
