A cosy, character cottage with lovely views and charming cottage gardens, perfectly located for easy access to the coast and getting out and about.

As soon as you enter the front door of Muckledyke Cottage you will feel its warm and relaxing welcome. Nearly three hundred years old, this pretty brick and flint cottage is undeniably compact, but it is warm, comfortable and well-equipped. The south facing sitting room enjoys views across pretty cottage gardens to the open landscape beyond and has a feature fireplace with wood burning stove to ensure you stay super toasty in cooler months, as well as a dining area just made for special fireside suppers. The kitchen is fully fitted with hand made units and all modern appliances, and has a useful, adjoining utility room. Upstairs there are two sunny bedrooms (a double and twin) and bathroom with shower. The beds have luxurious goose down duvets and lovely white linen - so tempting at the end of a busy day. The garden at the rear of the cottage is a true delight - fully enclosed, sheltered and sunny - a lovely, safe spot for children to play and somewhere to enjoy a quiet afternoon with a good book.

If you are looking for a special coastal retreat that offers you characterful charm, comfort, peace and a touch of romance, look no further than Muckledyke Cottage. Simply perfect for a small family, a couple or friends to enjoy all year round, and ideal if you are a keen walker or birdwatcher as you are only five minutes' walk from the North Norfolk Coastal Path which runs alongside the salt marshes; a haven for sea and wetland bird and wildlife.
