Somerset Country House near Porlock offers exclusive accommodation for larger groups A stunning location and elevation this exceptional property has wonderful views across Exmoor and out to the sea Built over 100 years ago this once personal residence has been recently renovated for the holiday rental market Offering 15 bedrooms almost all ensuite two kitchens a dining room with seating for 30 a huge yet homely living room games room and more this country home provides idyllic accommodation for groups of friends family or cooperate events The 6 acres of grounds offer a hard-standing tennis court squash court bowling green and fly-fishing millpond The expansive veranda holds a panoramic view of the vale and coastline perfect for sitting with a drink to enjoy the view Surrounded by National Trust land and set within Exmoor National Park you will not be disappointed while exploring the nearby landscape A 12 seater private cinema with 10 screen and 5 1 surround sound offers evening entertainment Up to 2 dogs welcome for a supplement of 50 each Please view the owner restriction for booking this property Dear Customer Please note the following things will require prior agreement before arrival - Any outside amplified noise - music or PA systems Fireworks - we live in a rural area with a large amount of livestock Smoke machines - they incompatible with our fire alarm A maximum number of guests is 30 - due to fire regulations - if this number is exceeded without prior agreement you may be requested to arrange alternative accommodation for the guests who exceed the allowed number and will be asked to leave until this has been resolved Please note that there are many holiday lets and B B s within walking distance of the Hall All pets - including birds of prey Any substantial DJ equipment and speakers for either indoor or outdoor use Any outside entertainment provided by external companies - ie archery or clay pigeon shooting The Garden and Grounds contains a great number of the original Arts and Crafts plants and shrubs and a large number of old trees We will not allow swings zip wires etc to be attached under any circumstances for both preservations of the grounds and health and safety reasons While Bossington Hall is in a secluded location due to the elevated position of the site and the rural countryside all sound carries much further than in an urban environment We would love to encourage our guests to enjoy themselves and the grounds but ask that they remember that there are neighbours both human and animal that finds unexpected amplified noise difficult to handle I m sorry we do not take Stag Hen do s under any circumstances Please note there is a 1000 damaged deposit payable to the owner which is refundable after your stay
