Perfect for lovebirds, Holkham Skies is a beautiful romantic retreat nestled in the beautiful Norfolk countryside off the beaten track. So if you're searching for a somewhere quiet and peaceful, yet still want to be close to the beautiful sandy beaches and the seaside town of Wells-next-the-Sea, this could be the place for you!

This sweet semi-detached ex-farm worker's cottage is tucked away in the peaceful rolling Norfolk countryside and affords lovely far-reaching views over the Holkham Estate to the front and rear. With gorgeously organic and natural décor throughout using treasured finds, this is a calm and tranquil escape that boasts a cosy sitting/dining room with a sofa made for curling up on, a high-end galley kitchen equipped with all the essentials to make the most of the delicious local produce North Norfolk has to offer. Being a traditional cottage, there is a fairly steep Norfolk winder staircase but at the top of this, is a small snug reading room, although head height in this small area is restricted. On the first floor you will discover the fabulous master bedroom with super-king size, uber-comfortable bed, where you can enjoy lazing mornings under the duvet whilst taking in the rural views. Once up, enjoy relaxing in the vintage rocking chair which is a feature of this room. The pretty downstairs bathroom featuring a luxurious rain shower over a small French-style tub bath is simple and stylish.

Outside, is a large garden which you will adore. With lavender, natural hedges and dreamy countryside views, you can enjoy alfresco dining at the table and chairs perfectly positioned for enjoying the surroundings. Relax with a glass of wine at the back of the garden and soak up the beautiful sunsets over the Holkham farmland and towards the Estate. There is also an outbuilding with plenty of storage for paddle boards and bikes. There is no passing traffic except the occasional tractor so you should just hear the bird song during your stay.

For a larger group, Holkham Skies is also available as a sleeps four or sleeps five option, with use of an additional bedroom with a lower double bunk and top single bunk bed.

Norfolk Winder stairs are steep, narrow and twisting. Here they are carpeted with a solid hand rail on the left.
