An absolutely charming, and stylishly rustic utter delight, this super comfortable flint cottage is sure to prove an absolute winner with all who choose to stay here, whatever the time of year - warm and cosy in the winter and a choice of two relaxing outdoor areas offering sun or shade in the summer.

Acorn Cottage dates back to the 17th century. Extended in 2014, the cottage has lost none of its charm or character, retaining many of the original and quirky features of the period. Sympathetically styled and comfortably furnished, the very spacious accommodation is perfect for a couple or two, as well as an older family, to spend a holiday together providing ample room for all to spread out. On the ground floor, you walk into a lovely L-shaped open plan and dual aspect living area with a dining area overlooking the garden that adjoins the kitchen that then flows through to a cosily furnished sun room where full length windows look into the inner courtyard garden - the ideal spot to sit with a coffee and browse the weekend papers or plan your day. From the sun room a door takes you through to the main sitting room which is the full length of the original cottage and has a wood burning stove set into an inglenook fireplace to one end and snug seating option at the other. Upstairs on the first floor, are two bedrooms (king size/twin and double), both with private en-suite facilities. There's a wet room style shower on the ground floor too, as well as a very useful utility/laundry room. Outside, the tastefully landscaped main garden at the back of the cottage has raised beds around a paved seating area with dining table, and shingle paths leading to a raised loggia where you can sit or recline and relax after a day spent out and about.

Tattersett is a peaceful little village about nine miles inland from the North Norfolk coast and a perfectly positioned base for enjoying and appreciating all things Norfolk - big skies, lovely walks, fabulous country houses, spectacular coastline and the prettiest villages galore to explore, be it on foot with your four legged chum or by bike for cycling enthusiasts.
