Details

This wonderfully bright and light, upside-down modern retreat with an industrial loft-vibe is located in the centre of South Creake village. Built in 1870 and once part of Pinchen Brewery, it is now a luxury and very stylish holiday home with an internal lift, boasting large and social living areas and beautifully-styled bedrooms making this gorgeous pad perfect for couples, a group of friends or a family.

Overlooking fields to the front and situated on the main village road, this semi-detached historic village house delivers in so many ways. On entering the property, take the internal lift or modern staircase to the light and spacious first floor living area where you will find a very stylish and contemporary kitchen with sit-up bar with stools, social dining area and comfortable sitting area with a large L-shaped sofa, armchair and statement television with surround sound, Sky, Netflix and amazon, and imposing wood burning stove. The owners have taken much care to make this house individual and there are some wonderful statement pieces and conversation starters in this house, making it very unique but equally incredibly comfortable. Off the main living area is the third bedroom which comes with a super-comfy Super-king bed and plenty of storage. And there is a stylish cloakroom on this floor too.

On the ground floor, you will find the further two bedrooms; a master bedroom with Super-king bed and en-suite bathroom and a second bedroom with King-size bed and separate shower room. Off the main hallway there is also a small fully-enclosed courtyard west-facing garden with small deck area and an L-shaped sofa for relaxing in the sun and enjoying a morning coffee and croissants, or a glass of wine and nibbles on an evening.

The village green just a few steps away, is perfect for exercising your dog and you will be enchanted by its pretty stream and resident ducks and wildfowl who make the River Burn their home. The village pub; the Ostrich Inn is just a short one-minute stroll away and is dog-friendly. Here you can enjoy pizza’s alfresco straight from the wood-fired oven, fine dining inside the restaurant or a relaxed drink or two at the bar. A short walk away is the neighbouring village of North Creake where there is another good pub/restaurant, the Jolly Farmers and a very good Café at Creake Abbey which has a good selection of shops and hosts a very popular Farmer’s Market on the first Saturday of every month. With so much local produce literally on your doorstep you might be tempted to stay in and cook at home, but being that Pinchen House is so close to Burnham Market, where there are no less than three award-winning restaurants, three good pubs and a plethora of cafe's/deli's, then there's no excuse not to dine out and enjoy some of the best food in East Anglia. If you are a wine buff, take the five-minute drive to Burn Valley Vineyard where you can find out more about this new award-winning English winery and enjoy a spot of wine-picking (or wine-tasting!). If you have the opportunity, book a table to enjoy one of their secret suppers but they get booked up quickly. Barsham Brewery is well worth a visit too, as is Sculthorpe Mill. This house is centrally located to visit all of the North Norfolk coast and inland villages and attractions. There are plenty of things to do whether that's walking the coastal path, sunbathing or walking on one of the many sandy beaches, getting up close to the local bird or wildlife, cycling, paddle boarding, kayaking or indeed dining out or shopping!

Additional Information:

Two well-behaved dogs welcome (small additional charge)
