Details

154 Blakeney High Street is a gorgeous and extremely stylish brick and flint, mid-terrace fisherman's cottage located in the heart of the coastal village of Blakeney, wonderfully located within minutes of Blakeney National Nature Reserve and Blakeney Point, home to an array of wildlife and England's largest grey seal colony. This bijou bolthole is bang on for proximity to the village amenities including its fabulous independent pubs, cafes and deli.

Cosy, comfortable and contemporarily furnished, this is the ideal year-round rental for a small family (with children older than two years old) or couple as the wood burning stove ensures it is toasty warm during the winter. The ground floor has well-equipped kitchen and utility room with a WC, which opens on to an enclosed, west-facing sunny garden - ideal to keep your children and four-legged furry friend playing safely. The sitting room, with its original beams, is full of character and has a Smart television and dining area with seating for four. The first floor is accessed by a Norfolk winder staircase - steep and narrow! - and offers two bedrooms; the master has a king-size bed and a walk-through to the second bedroom, a twin, with two 3ft single beds and funky wallpaper. There is a family bathroom with a bath and a shower over. Parking is on-road, but you can usually find a spot in front of the cottage.

Blakeney is a very special North Norfolk village, a dream for sailors, birders, walkers and artists - there really is something for everyone here! The village is a maze of narrow streets and tiny, characterful fishermen’s cottages with superb places to eat local produce, especially sea food, and the harbour is picturesque and always bustling with people ‘gillying’ for crabs. 154 Blakeney High Street will not disappoint and will leave you wanting to come back to this stunning area of North Norfolk time and again.
