Foxglove Lodge is a detached lodge resting on the outskirts of Saltburn-By-The-Sea. It houses one double bedroom and a shower room with a walk-in shower, basin and WC. Completing the interior is an open-plan living room with a kitchen area, breakfast dining and a sitting area. There is also a separate dining room and an external utility. To the outside, you will find an off-road parking space and a private patio area with furniture. Foxglove Lodge is a delightful base for exploring North Yorkshire further. Note: The owner only accepts a minimum of a 3 night stay. Note: One well-behaved dog welcome.

Gas central heating. Electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, washer/dryer, 2 x TV with Freeview, DVD, WiFi. Fuel and power inc. in rent. Bed linen inc. in rent. Parking for 1 vehicle only. Private patio with furniture. One well-behaved dog welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Pub 10 mins walk. 5 minute drive to the nearest supermarket. Note: Due to the peacocks and wildlife, please ensure dogs are kept on a lead and children are supervised. Please note a second dog can potentially be agreed if confirmed with Sykes and the Owner first. Please call the office before booking if you require a second dog. Please note , Rushpool Hall is a private residence and not open to the public. Please Note - The owner only accepts a minimum of a 3 night stay. Electric vehicles must not be charged up via the Lodge sockets, there is a charging station located less than 1/2 mile away. Please note: As of 14-09-2022 we will no longer be able to accept a Sunday check in day, any booking that is booked after this date that checks in on a Sunday will be subject to cancellation. Please note: This property does not allow for any booking to be made 72 hours prior to arrival, any booking that is booked after this date that checks in on a Sunday will be subject to cancellation.
Location Details
Saltburn-By-The-Sea is Victorian resort which houses a sandy beach and a coastline of glacial boulder clay. It is located to the northern tip of the North York Moors and houses a long pier and unique cliff lift and is certain to appeal to all ages and tastes. Also, within the town you will find a superb selection of shops, tea rooms and restaurants.
The North York Moors National Park covers 554 square miles, with landscape ranging from heather-clad moorland and deep secluded dales, to the cliffs and coves of the magnificent coastline making it a haven for walkers.

We planned our annual north east holiday and decided to stay here this time as we were celebrating our tenth wedding anniversary, we walked in and surprised we had a bottle of wine waiting for us, the lodge was very clean and well presented, the shower was amazing and my wife kept making up excuses to use it, the surrounding area was very quiet and at night all u could hear the wildlife, rushpool hall itself was down some steps and looked very impressive, there was however three draw backs, there was a very small 2 seater sofa which wasn’t very relaxing if we both wanted to sit on it, and the second, we didn’t have WiFi which is listed as available, and thirdly the bed was a small double with a VERY soft mattress. but would defiantly stay here again.
I always get nervous when I book somewhere new but I took a gamble with the lodges at Rushpool Hall and it paid off pretty well. We arrived and had to go to the main reception to collect the keys. We entered the lodge into the kitchen which was well equipped modern and clean. There is also a small breakfast bar and open plan living area. The sofa was a massive let down. It was small, uncomfortable and really tired. There was a seperate dining room, which we never used. The bathroom was fantastic and really brought up the standard of the lodge. The bedroom was at the back, with a second external door. There was plenty of wardrobe space, but no surface space. So I ended up having a shelf in the wardrobe with my makeup and my strengthens had to be placed on the floor (on a heat mat). This seemed odd as there was space for a unit or extra table. The bed was small, but still classed as a double and the mattress was very soft, probably a mix of coming to end of season and the fact we have a very firm mattress at home. This listing shows Wi-Fi in the lodge, but we did not see a router or hub and there was no mention on the small welcome pack. The area itself is gorgeous. The amount of nature and wildlife is beautiful and you are free to walk the grounds. Given that we were out and about most of our time, we would certainly consider booking again.
