Stayed here in September and had a fantastic week. The accommodation was superb and very clean and has all the amenities you need for a great holiday. The accommodation is situated very close to the beach and there are also some lovely walks around the area. The local pub (start bay inn) is a very nice local pub serving good beer and some great food, I recommend the large cod and chips. My wife and I would not hesitate to stay here again, hopefully we can return soon.

We stayed at the accommodation over the New Year for 2 nights with our daughter & son in law. The property, was exceptionally clean, tidy, well furnished & modern. Both the Beach & a very nice Cafe for breakfast (The Billy Can) were less than 100 yards away, perfectly located for an early morning stroll. A great apartment & area to visit for a chilled getaway at any time of year & we will definitely go back.

If you're looking for the perfect beachside getaway in Devon, look no further than this lovely cottage in Torcross. This charming retreat exceeded all our expectations and left us with nothing but wonderful memories. From the moment we arrived until the day we left, every aspect of our stay was simply delightful. First and foremost, the location is absolutely unbeatable. You are a stone's throw away from the shores the beach. It's not got a sea view but who needs one when it takes 30 seconds to get there. The sunsets were absolutely breath-taking - a photographer's dream! The accommodation itself was top-notch. The cottage has everything you could possibly need and boasts a cosy and tastefully decorated interior, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The attention to detail was evident, and it was clear that the owners take pride in maintaining the property to a high standard. The comfortable bed ensured a great night's sleep, and the well-equipped kitchen made cooking a breeze. What truly sets this place apart is the exceptional hospitality of the hosts. From the moment I booked, they were incredibly responsive and accommodating. They provided excellent recommendations for local restaurants and activities, ensuring I made the most of my time in Slapton. You simply have to visit the Billy Can, a mere minute walk away from the cottage. I cannot recommend this place enough. This charming retreat offers an idyllic beachside experience, perfect for a getaway holiday. The combination of the stunning location, cosy accommodation, and outstanding hospitality made for a truly unforgettable stay. I am already looking forward to my next visit to Torcross, and there's no doubt I will be booking here again!

My partner and I stayed at the beach for a short break, we chose it for the tranquility and sea air and it didn’t disappoint! The property is well maintained with all the facilities we needed and not even 2 minutes walk to the beach! The local pub and cafe were lovely too and all in all we had a wonderful time! Would recommend and will definitely go back!

Stayed at the accommodation on New Years Day for 2 nights with our daughter & son in law. The property was extremely clean, tidy, functional & modern. A beautiful location with the beach & lovely cafe (The Billy Can) less than 100m away. A fantastic place to stay to just chill, walk & simply relax at any time of the year. We will definitely visit the area again & hopefully stay in the same accommodation.

Book this apartment if you enjoy sitting in a cold drafty sitting room during your evenings after 10.00pm. Lets elaborate, the central heating is timed to shut down at 10.00pm, the programmer is sited behind a locked door so there is no means to overide it .The poor fitting rear uvpc window with worn hinges hidden behind the venetian blinds results in a loud powerful cold draft requiring at times in having to turn up the television volume while sitting there watching it with your coat on. Oh! I almost forgot an allocated parking space is available located adjacent to the property, complete with security barrier and access code...Extremely convenient you may think, well that is if you are happy to see the security barrier stuck permanently in the up position allowing a large metal wastage bin to run under it and smash into the side of your car causing £750 of damage....and the flat owners response, you parked at your own risk ! Thanks for the advice......

Don't be misled by the photographs of views along the beach. This apartment is tucked away at behind the hotel.
