The designated chef of the group will be delighted to find a well-equipped kitchen, housing everything you will need to whip up a delicious home-cooked meal before settling down around the dining table. First impressions on arrival very poor.the frontage had four bags of rubbish from previous occupiers.the flower pots and steps were full of large weeds. On entering there were dirty mats on the floor and a dirty carpeted staircase. Most flat surfaces,Including the beds headboard were very dusty and had obviously not been cleaned. I didn’t complain at the time as I didn’t want to get into an argument and spoil my family and young grandchildren’s holiday. I complained on my return and Sykes Holidays replied with a cursory response. They didn’t seem to care less.
This cottage is fantastic, it’s really well equipped, beautiful presented and has a homely feel to it. The garden is also lovely and well cared for. The beds were really comfy and the cottage was very well cleaned. Great communication from the owner who was lovely. The neighbours were all very friendly and helpful. The surrounding area is beautiful, we particularly enjoyed the small local beaches where we saw seals and did some crabbing.
