Location Details
The market town of St Austell has many beaches and sub-tropical gardens including the wonderful Lost Gardens of Heligan and the Eden Project. St Austell Brewery offers tours and a chance to sample the local beer, and St Austell Bay has several beaches to choose from, some with watersports. As well as a small shingle beach, Charlestown, a pretty, historic port, often has wooden sailing ships in the harbour.

Agree the place clean tidy etc, but essentially your place to stay is on the driveway of the owners property. No privacy, gates opened leaving the dog friendly property not dog safe . To be fair the lounging outdoor area is only suitable for a drink as it would be a nightmare to carry around glasses, plates, food, drinks as the access to it isn't totally user friendly. No back door .. out the front door ( which is on the driveway) and around the side up steps etc etc. It's stated you have shared use of washing facilities but this is only to the owners discretion, its locked or they are using plus they watch everything you do .. I was accosted because I used the washing machine 3 times !! We left early because of being made unwelcome!
Fabulous place would highly recommend it Sue and John make your stay great they are so helpful and make the cottage so lively everything you need even left us milk scones fresh cream tea bags biscuits etc we have just spent a week there would definitely go back many thanks to Sue and John
