Location Details
The charming seaside village of Nefyn, on the northern coast of the Llyn Peninsula, stands above sweeping cliffs and boasts a lovely two-mile stretch of sandy beach, popular with kids of all ages! The town has an excellent range of shops, bars, and restaurants and is close to the facilities of Pwllheli and Abersoch, which are also major tourist destinations. The region's coastline is lined with castles and coves, and fishing, sailing, and other water activities are accessible.
Famous for its choirs, stunning mountain ranges and beautiful valleys, this wonderful country has something for everyone. From Snowdonia in North Wales to the Brecon Beacons and the Pembrokeshire Coast in the South.
Reviews
Good location in quiet corner within easy walking distance of village centre. Plenty of footpaths to explore either the coast or the rising ground behind with views and history in all directions. We saw 67 species of bird in our one week stay, which included a trip to Bardsey Island. The owner is local and very helpful for information. The cottage itself is a cosy comfortable well provided base for exploration but fine weather and lockdown perhaps did not make our stay typical
