No one will complain about being tied to the kitchen sink here - the ever-changing view of Beaumaris, the Menai Strait and Snowdonia are just magnificent! I love the kitchen tablecloth and all the loving little extra's. "A truly delightful place to stay - only 100m away from the coastal footpath in this lovely corner of Anglesey." All on ground level, the cottage has been decorated with flair from the white painted floorboards, wood burning stove, pine doors, quality fabrics and furnishings throughout - you cannot fail to be charmed. The south-east corner of Anglesey has so much to offer from the delightful castle town of Beaumaris, long sandy beaches and of course the wonderful coastal path, which is only about 100 metres from the front door.

Hafod-Llangoed is a holiday cottage in a delightfully rural countryside location on Anglesey.The stunning views across the fields to Beaumaris, the Menai Strait and Snowdonia are just incredible! With a cosy and welcoming sitting area, a bright and cheerful kitchen and lovely bedrooms, and having all the holiday accommodation on one level means this really is a fabulous holiday cottage on Anglesey for all generations.The bright and modern kitchen has all you need with a cooker, hob, fridge / freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, microwave and toaster.The dining table in the middle sits six and a small sofa allows the chef some company, or a little relax, whilst cooking. A lovely cosy and comfy sitting room has a sofa and chairs set around a log burning stove and flat screen TV. The woodburner is just wonderful, especially in the winter months, and quickly adds an extra relaxing and warming feel to the room. The bedrooms include one with a with a king size bed and ensuite shower room with shower, loo and wash hand basin. Another room has a king size bed and finally there’s a twin room. The splendid, spacious family bathroom has a double ended freestanding bath, separate shower and wash hand basin. There is also a cloakroom with loo and wash hand basin. The garden is laid to lawn but also has a large patio area at the back with and garden furniture. We can just imagine enjoying a glass of wine in the sunshine - utter bliss! The drive will fit two or three cars comfortably. The south-east corner of Anglesey where Hafod-Llangoed is nestled has plenty to offer. The gorgeous seaside town of Beaumaris is close by with its shops, pubs, castle and restaurants. You can access long stretches of sandy beach and take a stroll along the Anglesey coastal path, which is only about 100 metres from the front door. Both a fun-filled family or relaxing break with friends could be enjoyed at this fabulous holiday cottage on Anglesey. Book it for your next break in North Wales!
The village of Llangoed is situated in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty in the beautiful east corner of the Isle of Anglesey, offering a shop and Post Office. Nearby is the fascinating and attractive town of Beaumaris, boasting a 13th century castle, Georgian and early Victorian houses and shops, a number of excellent tea rooms, restaurants and stylish shops, and a delicatessen. Visit the town’s old courthouse and Victorian gaol, or the pier where you can fish for crabs or catch a boat to see the birds on Puffin Island. From the pier and promenade there are spectacular views across the Menai Straits and Snowdonia. Nearby Penmon Priory, founded in the 6th Century by Saint Seiriol and with its Holy Well and Dovecote, is just a short walk away on the coastal footpath.
