Location Details

Very interesting area, very differernt to its neighbour Snodonia. The river Conwy flows through as does the main railway line through from Llandudno to Blaenau Ffestiniog, used originally to carry slate. Visit the castle at Conway and the smallest house in Wales or pop along to Betws y Coed or Llanrwst, or join the North Wales Coastal path and head off towards Llanfairfechan. Plenty of nice eating places to choose from whereever you decide to visit.

Famous for its choirs, stunning mountain ranges and beautiful valleys, this wonderful country has something for everyone. From Snowdonia in North Wales to the Brecon Beacons and the Pembrokeshire Coast in the South.

Reviews

We've stayed twice now at the lodge and love it. It's comfortable, well kept and has lots of character. Well placed for hiking in Snowdonia, lots of amenities nearby. The high walled enclosed yard is brilliant if you have a dog with you. The estate is lovely with some stunning trees and well worth a walk through. Elwyn, who looks after the cottage is lovely and very helpful.

This is a lovely lodge, just enough for 2 and a dog. Ideal location for the Welsh mountains or coast. Walking distance from Llanrwst either on the road side footpath or through the park grounds. Elwyn the manager always on hand if required, really friendly and excellent customer service. The lodge is ideally situated for morning or evening dog walks up the private track. Highly recommended accommodation. We loved having a real fire after a full day on the mountains.

This is a lovely little lodge. It’s simple and cosy and set in lovely grounds which the very friendly owners are happy for you to walk around. We arrived to flapjack and bottle of wine which was a lovely touch. It is close to the road so you get some road noise but is private and actually faces a field, so nice views. A good access point for exploring Snowdonia. It’s not super fancy but it’s absolutely perfect for a chill out and relaxing get away. We would definitely stay again.
