Delight in some alfresco dining in the enclosed courtyard in summer when the weather is on your side and let the dogs stretch their legs. Completing the ground floor is the lovely bathroom, where a bath with a shower over offers a wonderful place to freshen up each day. Travel upstairs to find the two spacious, pretty bedrooms, both enjoying a light, bright interior with rustic wooden floorboards; choose from either the king bedroom, or the twin room, with the latter able to become a king-size bedroom on request thanks to its zip/link feature, accommodating for different party types. Head into Deganwy and sample the variety of individual cafés, pubs and bars offering the perfect pit-stops between activities, before going down to Deganwy Beach which is completely dog-friendly all year and begin a walk along the Wales Coast Path leading to the Great Orme. Visit Conwy Castle in all its 13th-century glory, marvel at The Smallest House In Great Britain, or take a boat ride along the River Conwy, or towards the Menai Strait. Just returned from a week at shamrock Cottage, the break was spoil by a nosey neighbour who is very unreceptive of any visitors watching our every move and making false statements to the owner, who immediately asked who we had visiting ? I explained it was my relatives with my young nice, we feel that we need to let people know that if you wish to spend time with relatives having them call for a coffee and a brief catch up this isn’t the place to go.. I would also like to say that my visitors were in their mid seventies who visited during the day and in the evening my sister and husband left before 8.30pm. Reading between the lines there seems to be one jealous neighbour who the owner is trying to please.
