Swn y Mor has been refurbished to offer a bright, cheerful holiday house in Criccieth on the Llŷn peninsula. Split over three floors, it has lovely ocean views stretching towards Black Rock Sands and Harlech. The kitchen, dining and living room is a gorgeous open plan space. The well equipped kitchen has an electric oven and hob, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave and toaster. The table and chairs seat 8. The seating area has comfortable sofas, a TV, modern electric fire, and great views of the sea. There is a further sitting room on the ground floor with sofas, TV, DVD player and CD player and patio doors opening on to the rear garden. There is a downstairs cloakroom with a washing machine. There are four bedrooms all on the first floor. The master double bedroom has an ensuite with shower, loo and wash hand basin. There is a further double and two single bedrooms. One of the singles has a pull out trundle bed and is suitable for children only. The family bathroom has a bath with shower over, loo and wash hand basin. The enclosed rear garden has a patio, decking and garden furniture. The front garden has a small lawn and shrubbed area. There is easy roadside parking outside the house in this quiet residential area. Often described as the 'Pearl of Wales on the shores of Snowdonia’, this delightful seaside town is situated just 5 miles from Porthmadog. The town’s 13th century castle perches majestically on a rocky outcrop, dominating the skyline and offering superb views of Tremadog Bay and the Snowdonia mountains. Watersports enthusiasts will be delighted by the two beaches, whilst walkers and bikers are spoilt for choice by the proximity of the beautiful Snowdonia National Park. Stroll along the beaches, watch porpoises playing in the surf, or relax in the various pubs, restaurants and tea rooms, sampling the famous Cadwalader’s ice cream. Further afield, attractions such as Portmeirion’s wonderful Italianate gardens, the Ffestiniog railway in Porthmadog, Harlech Castle, Caernarfon Castle and the beautiful beaches and renowned golf courses of the Llyn Peninsula are all within an easy drive.
