Having stayed at Willow Cottage last year and having spent a very comfortable week In residence I had no hesitation in deciding to make a repeat visit. I was not disappointed, just as well presented, well equipped and, given it was winter, warm and cozy too. I think it highly likely I will be back again.
Willow Cottage is all you could wish for: excellent facilities, very clean & ideally located for exploring all of Norfolk. We can recommend a trip on the paddle-boat on the Broads, a bracing walk along the coast or a visit to several National Trust properties - all within easy reach, or try a Treasure Hunt. The property is cosy & has everything you will need for your stay. Tea, coffee, milk & cake, all provided on arrival which was great. We'll be back!
Willow Cottage is the perfect base for discovery trips all around Norfolk be it coast, the Norfolk Broads, forest walks or the local pubs. The nearby small town of Watton has all of the facilities generally needed and there is a Tesco store. The cottage may be small but it is perfectly formed and there is absolutely everything that you can possibly need for your stay, short or long. It is beautifully presented both inside and out, spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The welcome pack provided makes you feel immediately at home and provides for a refreshing tea or coffee (and cake) after your journey without the need to go rushing off to the shops – and it provided for my canine guests too. The owner has been inobtrusive but always accessible by, phone, text or email. I would highly recommend the cottage for all seasons, it has been one of my most enjoyable stays anywhere.
Lovely cottage, really cozy and spotlessly clean, everything you could possibly need! Proper home from home. Lovely outside area too. Visited Blakeney Point, to see Seals, Banham Zoo, Dad’s Army Museum, Cromer Pier, and Langham Glass. Great base. Shame we only had a week! Thoroughly recommend.
Unfortunately I only had 3 nights to spend in this great cottage. Very comfortable and well equipped. The weather was great during my stay so I made use of the little garden out back for morning coffee and a glass of red before bed. 2 bedrooms (both have 1 double bed) and a full bath upstairs and a 1/2 bath on the first floor in the garden (saves taking the steps during the day). Took a day trip to the Broads for a boat trip. It was an easy one day excursion from the cottage. Good location for exploring in the Norfolk area. Willow cottage has that great cozy cottage, come relax and unwind vibe. I wish I had more time to enjoy. I will be back!
