Mrs Stuart, your property is no longer available to rent due to C-19. I have had a terrible experience with your management company Sykes Holiday Cottages e.g. 2hrs + on hold, no evidence of a booking on my Sykes online account and no communication at all (emails etc) since booking. The balance of my easter break was paid some time ago. I did manage to speak to Sykes on Wednesday and I was told that you as the owner had the option to provide a full refund. I believe you were contacted and this request made but you refused. My options are to rebook at another time e.g. I can book the same time next year. I looked at this and not only would you retain my payment for 12 months but the cost for the same week next year appears to be 80% higher i.e. nearly double, an additional cost I would be expected to pay. However, Sykes informed me that if I found another week that happened to be cheaper, you would keep the difference. Please could I ask you to take a look at the Trust Pilot reviews for Sykes Holiday Cottages and do the right thing.
