Reviews

Cottage had great character and could be wonderful if it was properly maintained and cleaned! No checks carried out prior to our arrival. Sewage problems, overflowing drains, and toilets. Cobwebs and spiders everywhere, mould and spores growing, table and chairs covered in bird mess so we couldn't use them unless I cleaned them before use. Mattress covers didn't fit the bed, grill had been used by previous guests and was left in oven. False advertisement with furniture! Could not comfortably sit 6 people at the dinning table or in the lounge. Very dirty a big disappointment. I have stayed at cheaper properties during peak seasons and this is far the worse I've ever come across. I'm not a fussy person and make the best of our holidays but this was on another level. What you see in the pictures is not what you get.

The pillows on the beds are tired and flat, the pine bed underneath the mattress hasn’t had a clean in years it was thick with grey dust, the duvet in the pine room had very bad brown stains on it, the dining room chairs are unsafe and rickety, there was dust and spiders behind the doors where they hadn’t been touched, they was cobwebs everywhere, there was mould on the grouting in the bathrooms This property could be a little gold mine if it was cared for properly
