Reviews

We really enjoyed our week’s holiday at Estuary View. All fittings, furniture and kitchen equipment were good quality. The beds were comfortable and it was quiet on an evening. The accommodation was spotlessly clean. It has a good location. It’s just under a 10 minute walk from Trenchers restaurant and the railway station. I enjoyed walking our dog around the marina on a morning. There’s a nice walk along the River Esk next to the railway line to Ruswarp. The only improvement I can think of would be a grab rail above the bath. Then again I am 68 and not as sure footed as I once was. I would stay here again.

Just got back after spending a week at estuary view. The cottage is really comfortable and well equipped with everything you need for a self catering holiday, and only a short walk to town. Lovely quality bed linen, comfy beds with plenty of pillows, and great shower. We enjoyed everything Whitby had to offer although it’s a shame a lot of the pubs were still closed. We queued to get in to the Whitby brewery garden which was open, and we managed to book a table at the little angel for the Thursday night quiz, very enjoyable. For food I’d recommend the forge at aislaby a short drive away, we had two good meals there.

We booked a two night stay at Estuary View as we were coming out of lockdown, we stayed for two days with extended family and our dog, The house is lovely, beautifully decorated and very clean with everything you need. The location is excellent and a nice little stroll into the Centre of Whitby ,it has a lovely seating area in the back and 2 parking spaces which is great. We loved out stay and will definitely return in the future.

I have just returned back from staying in this lovely bungalow. It was immaculate and the perfect base for me my partner, his mum and our pooch. There was everything we needed..even a little welcome bag for our dog. Please don't be put off booking this bungalow if you don't have a dog..you would never know it was pet friendly..so clean and immaculate. Location is amazing..so easy to get into town. The only thing to keep in mind is there is quite a steep incline to walk up to the property. We had one wheelchair user in the party and it was hard to push her up. However, with plenty of parking at the property we could have driven up and down the slope if needed so this wouldn't put us off staying. Thank you to the owners for providing such a lovely base to stay.

This is a great cottage, very clean, children & pet friendly. Off road parking for two cars on the driveway and a 5-minute walk into the centre of Whitby. We had a fantastic time and will definitely be back here again!

Such a lovely little cottage, a stone's throw from whitby town. The cottage is ideal for a couple or small family. Its spotlessly clean and your provided with a basket of essentials to get you started. We stayed in the winter so didnt take advantage of the patio at the rear of the property but I'm sure it would be great in summer. We'd definitely stay again
