There are three bedrooms, a bathroom and an en-suite shower room, and the property is suitable to sleep up to six people. Inside you can find a wonderful kitchen/living area fit with an electric fire, as well as a dining room. Outside is a private fitness room with gym equipment and a sauna, as well as there being ample seating areas, a play area, and a barbecue. Internally, you can find three plush bedrooms, including a super-king, a king, and a twin room, all tastefully decorated with plump pillows and stylish touches, it’s the perfect set up to comfortably sleep the whole family, with the added bonus of slippers and robes personalised with the initials of the cottage, giving it an extra special touch of personalised perfection. In the king-size bedroom you can find a hand basin, decorated with local toiletries that can be found in each of the bathrooms, not forgetting the en-suite in the double room, fresh and fabulous, these soaps let you support the local community with the added bonus of smelling delicious. The kitchen/living area is a real show stopper, decorated with authentic hanging bulbs, a feature stone wall surrounding the fire-effect electric fire, and beautiful wooden beams to compliment the added touches of décor, it’s a beautiful room where the whole family can kick back and relax before heading to the dining room to enjoy a home-cooked meal while the sun sets over the garden behind. Meadowview Cottage is the most beautiful, relaxing and well kept cottage that we have ever stayed in. We loved waking up every morning and watching the sheep from the breakfast table. The Cottage has everything you could ask for and it is so peaceful and such a welcome break from the hectic lifestyle we lead in London. The gardens at the cottage are outstanding and our son loved using the play area and all the fanatic games Debbie had put out for us. Debbie was also so kind as to provide us with bed guards for our son as well as other essentials when travelling with a toddler. We would love to stay at the cottage again and would highly recommend it to anyone to stay in and for those travelling with children it is a perfect spot for both parents and children!!
This cottage is the cleanest, quietest, best-equipped and most charming place we have ever stayed (and we have stayed in a lot of places around the world). It is equipped with everything you could think of (and then some) for a relaxing holiday, and provides a good base for exploring Cornwall and West Devon. The owners are always on hand but never intrusive. We would most definitely book again and haven't stopped telling our friends and family about how good it is.
This perfect cottage leaves nothing to be desired.It has been lovingly converted from a barn to a LUXURY cottage. Everything necessary for a perfect holiday. Luxury toiletries left for our use. Every possible kitchen pan, crockery and utensil you could need was there. We loved the beautifully landscaped garden, overlooking chicken and sheep in adjoining areas. An amazingly equipped childrens play area, and luxury of luxuries, a sauna and excercise equipment. A separate summer gazebo beautifully decorated with fairy lights for evening dining. The vista from the dining room window was wonderful, across lovely countryside. All this lovingly presented by the owners Debbie and Roger, who welcome you very genuinely and warmly on arrival. We hope we can revisit this exceptional cottage in the very near future.
