Accommodation Details
Three bedrooms; 1 x double with king size bed, 1 x twin, 1 x single. Bathroom with bath, shower over, WC and basin. Shower room with shower, WC and basin. Open plan living area with sitting area, kitchen and dining area.

Elec central heating. Electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, washing machine, tumble dryer, dishwasher, TV/DVD, WiFi. Fuel and power inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Ample off road parking. Patio garden with furniture. Two medium sized well behaved pet accepted, sorry no smoking. Shop and pub 2 miles, beach 2.5 miles. Note: There is a large lake and several streams in the grounds, children should be supervised.
Reviews
What appears to be an idyllic escape and dog friendly is actually not. Firstly, there is no enclosed area for dogs, which means getting up and dressed and walking your dogs on a long lead at the crack of dawn and last thing at night. When I broached this with Matt, he said it would be too difficult to fence an area off (but they have done this for their own dog! ♀️). There are plenty of opportunities to do this on the property. Secondly, the steps from the mill are lethal when wet! On the second morning I got up at 6.30 (as awakened by my dogs). I donned my walking boots and decended the moss covered granite steps. On the third from last my foot slid forwards and I fell heavily on my back. I felt really unwell and my heart was racing uncontrollably, which went on for another 30 mins. Never had this before! I informed Matt and he said "There's a rail there". I discussed it in more detail, suggesting cleaning the moss and painting with non slip paint. He showed no concern and suggested the dogs pulled me over. There is such a thing as public liability, for which the owners should step up to. Thank God no one was seriously hurt. Only a matter of time.
