Reviews

We really enjoy Tattershall Lakes and go back every year. First time staying at Teal Lodge but was disappointed. Firstly the hot tub wasn’t clean when we first arrived! Twigs and dirt in the bottom of the hot tub before anyone had even been in it?? Secondly the shower trap is removable for a reason so the dirt, grime and hair can be removed and cleaned! This clearly hasn’t been done for months and resulted in a bathroom flood! I don’t expect to have to be doing this myself…..it was disgusting. The decking hadn’t been pressure washed for a very long time, lots of built up dirt and muck all over the decking and around the hot tub area. The hot tub guy turned up but the kids were in it and then you messaged that someone would come the next day to change the water and clean……this never happened. White stains on the bed linen…disgusting and should be thrown away and replaced! Shower partition leaked when closed correctly and then flush in the main bathroom keeps refilling…..an issue you’ve had for sometime when i look back at previous reviews. Untidy garden area with broken chairs and mops and buckets!! BBQ which needs replacing. Current one isn’t fit for cooking on. Ash from previous guests still in it and grease and burnt in food on the grill. We paid a lot of money for this stay and is no way representative of what we got. We stay at Tattershall Lakes a lot and always have an amazing stay. Your Lodge isn’t up to scratch and needs a lots and urgent maintenance. Correspondence with the owner and Sykes cottages was barely non existent with no one apologizing for the issues we had. There are much better Lodges on the complex that are immaculate which you would expect after paying £1400 for 4 nights.
