Fuel, power and starter pack for stove inc. in rent. Bed linen, towels, and bathrobes inc. in rent. Highchair on request. Load/unload outside property only. Off-road parking for 3 cars in a free, dedicated car park 20 yards from the property. Near to this is also a private woodland play area for children including swings and slides. Enclosed front patio with furniture and BBQ. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. Shop and pub 1 mile. Coast 4 miles. Note: A stream runs through the property grounds and there are a number of unfenced ponds and a private lake for fishing and swimming. The woodland is also suitable for leisurely walks. Also available is a farm experience for children to meet our goats, horses, ducks and cats, and chickens. Children to be supervised at all times. Note: Check-in time is 4PM . This property will accept two dogs for bookings made after 31st Aug 2024
Location Details
The picturesque Northumberland village of Belford lies in the heart of Heritage countryside, midway between the popular walled towns of Alnwick and Berwick-upon-Tweed. The pretty coastal village of Bamburgh with its sweeping beaches and dramatic castle is only a short drive away. Belford itself is an old coaching village with a pleasant square and offers a variety of shops, pubs, restaurants and a nine hole golf course.

We had a lovely holiday in sawmill cottage there was everything you needed to have a drink and something to eat when you got there. There was tea coffee and sugar there plus a lovely lime and coconut cake and a bottle of prosecco in the fridge. We left a pressure cushion there and they sent it back to us straight away which was lovely of them to do that not everyone would do this. It was like home from home there and the location is is very nice, you couldn't fault it at all. I would recommend this to anyone that wants a nice quite vacation.
