Boasting lovely views over open fields and with the Heritage Coastline and the Northumberland National Park only a short drive away, this delightful lodge is perfect for a couple's getaway filled with exploration. Offering a cosy setup, step into the wooden lodge where you are welcomed by an open-plan living area with kitchen, dining and sitting area where you can cuddle up with your loved one and reflect upon the days excursions or plan for what tomorrow holds. As the evening draws to a close, retire to the nicely decorated bedroom for a restful night's sleep. Sip on your morning coffee on the picnic bench outside, gazing across the open fields and towards the rolling hills in the distance. There is also off-road parking for one car and an external laundry room available on a coin-operated system. Longframlington is just a mile away and offers excellent pubs serving fine ale and good-quality local food, ideal if you don't fancy cooking yourself. Other nearby attractions include Brinkburn Priory with its tranquil riverside setting, the National Trust's Cragside House, and the historic market town of Alnwick with its impressive buildings and gardens. Take a day to visit Lindisfarne, also known as the Holy Island, where you can explore the fairy tale castle and medieval connections, or enjoy a boat trip to the Farne Islands to visit the basking seals.
