Perfectly positioned on the breath-taking Fylde Coast, in the popular town of Cleveleys, you will find The Beach House. Spread across three floors, this spacious and contemporary holiday home provides a fantastic setting for a family escape to the seaside. Step inside this charming dwelling into a handy porch, ideal for storing sand-filled shoes and into the hallway and be greeted by a handy shower room, perfect for washing off the sand after a fun-filled day at the beach. Wander through to the homely snug, complete with two sofa beds offering flexible sleeping arrangements or accommodation for two additional guests. Head out to the garden through the snug and delight in a warm cup of tea as you kick-back and relax on the outdoor seating area, breathing in the fresh sea air as you look forward to the days ahead. Climb the staircase to the first floor which is home to a well-equipped kitchen styled with contemporary units and chic white subway tiles, where you can take to the impressive electric oven and halogen hob to prepare a hearty group meal. On the 6th of March I booked this property for a week from the 6th to 13th of August. One of my daughters returned to school on the 8th of March and found out her rearranged day for GCSE results was the 12th of August. She was desperate not to miss this with her friends as they have already missed out on so much in the last year. We had booked this property through Sykes and had paid a £500 deposit. The owners kindly accepted our cancellation request, which they could have refused, and as the property was unavailable on other weeks we could go Sykes allowed us to transfer our deposit onto a different property on a different week. I was faced with either losing £500 or upsetting a daughter who has already been through a lot in the last year but thanks to the owners understanding and flexibility and also Sykes helpful approach we were able to rearrange without being out of pocket.
