Set in an enviable position on the outskirts of Sandown seaside resort on the Isle of Wight is this delightful detached house. Ideal for families or groups of friends of all ages, this charming property offers spectacular views from a beautifully furnished house. This property rests in an enviable position, boasting some of the most beautiful views imaginable and within close proximity to the Isle of Wight coastal path. Accessed via a side entrance, be welcomed into a spacious sitting room, complete with a large wrap-around sofa, a TV for your entertainment needs and a cosy electric fire to keep you nice and toasty. Additionally, your children can hang out in the snug room complete with a piano, TV, beanbags and cupboards of toys and board games. Walk through to the open-plan kitchen/diner, able to seat up to eight guests overlooking the enclosed back garden, perfect for gathering together over a scrumptious meal and a well-deserved glass of wine. Fitted to a very high-standard, this kitchen comes with all the necessary appliances for cooking up a storm and has been furnished with everything you could want. Choose to enjoy some quiet time reading in the conservatory where there is a cosy seating area, and table with chairs where you can indulge in board games and cards, or dine here whilst watching the spectacular views in the summer. Once the evening draws to a close, get some much needed rest in one of the four good-sized bedrooms. The en-suite master bedroom has a super king bed. There is another super king bed that can be separated into two singles if required. The other two are a double and twin rooms. A travel cot is provided that can be put up in any room. Three bedrooms come with fitted wardrobes for storing your clothes and matching bedside tables and lamps for some late night reading. There is a family bathroom with the choice of a bath or shower over so you can enjoy a warm soak at the end of a tiring day. Outside, there is an enclosed garden with lawn and gravelled areas so you can sit out in the evening sun with a refreshing drink in hand. Located on the east coast of the Isle of Wight, this property benefits from many coastal delights with superb views across Sandown and Shanklin beaches. Set less than five minutes from the coastal path and Sandown beach, there really is everything on your doorstep that you could need. Walking and cycling routes around the island give opportunity to explore some stunning areas of the island. Thanks to the location there are plenty of restaurants and traditional pubs nearby. A selection of shops and supermarkets are within walking distance and perfect for picking up any last-minute ingredients for dinner. Having just returned from a fabulous week at 5 The Mall we are already planning our return! The house is beautifully decorated and caters for all the family. The children loved the playroom and piano, while the adults took in the stunning views from the conservatory. The owners are extremely helpful and communication is great. We would highly recommend staying here and we shall definitely be back!

We’ve just returned from what I can only describe as the perfect family New Years at Five the Mall. We thoroughly enjoyed and appreciated every aspect of this relaxing and stylish family friendly property sitting just a short walk from Sandown Beach. The owners have clearly thought of everything needed to make guests feel totally at home. We travelled with our one year old daughter together with friends and their two young children - the house was ideal for entertaining and relaxing whilst the children played in one of the many child-friendly areas (including full playroom with fully equipped toy cupboard!). Small touches like stair gates, high chairs and cots were very much appreciated. The conservatory area was wonderful for relaxing in the mornings and enjoying the beautiful views down to the sea. The location was ideal for both Sandown (and it’s lion and tiger filled zoo!) and Shanklin with its cosy seafront pubs and cafes.The property was also spotless and had powerful hot showers which for me is a must! I haven’t been to the Isle of Wight since childhood but shall definitely be returning and hope to book this wonderful property again! If you are considering booking this bright and spacious home - do it, you won’t look back!

We had such a fantastic stay at 5 The Mall. We had everything we could have possibly needed, and felt thoroughly at home throughout our stay. Everything has been thought about and it suited us just perfectly. We will be back for another trip soon!

This is definitely a Holiday home as opposed to a holiday house. It’s beautiful inside and with 2 super kings , a double and a twin will suit most families. Lots of lounging and family areas it’s easy to find somewhere to relax. The owners seem to have thought of everything. Easy walks into Sandown and the beach make it a brilliant base for exploring the island Thank you so much and we will be back

We had a really wonderful stay with my family and friends at 5 The Mall. So well equipped and the hosts have thought of everything we could need and more. The toys and games for children are a lovely touch The house has been done so tastefully. There are lots of lovely social areas - beautiful places to sit and enjoy a quiet coffee or the fab kitchen diner for a big group dinner. We didn’t feel on top of each other at all. It was cosy and warm in the winter but we would love to go in the summer - the garden looks perfect for a BBQ! The location was amazing. Only 3 minutes to the beach and coastal path and how lucky we were to have a bit of winter sunshine! We would highly recommend, great for family gatherings or catching up with friends. We shall definitely be visiting again.

I had a wonderful weekend here. The house is beautiful, with gorgeous modern decor and everything you need for a comfortable and relaxing stay. Views from the house are gorgeous, adding to the feel of pure escapism! Great location, just a short stroll to the beach front. I would definitely go back and stay.

Great stay. Very welcoming and home from home. Lots of areas to sit,read,relax and socialise. My favourite being the conservatory where you get the sun and can enjoy the view. Equipped with everything you need in the kitchen and toys for all ages. Close to all shops and walks. Slept like a log, which says it all! Well worth a visit.

The hosts have thought of everything to make this an idyllic stay. This is a beautiful home setting with everything you could imagine needing for a holiday . They have considered families and couples- I love the play room and the kitchen diner overlooking the garden is such a great social space. Ample parking takes the stress away as does the great location to tourist attractions, supermarkets and pubs with great food. Whatever the weather , who ever is staying you will love this home from home on the Isle of Wight .
