An attractive base for families and friends, Lakeside Cottage is stylishly furnished to provide a welcoming base to return after a day of exploring this fine part of Cheshire. You enter the cottage into the compact but well-equipped kitchen, appointed with all the necessary appliances so you can rustle up a lovingly-prepared home-cooked meal with no trouble. Take 3 steps up into the sitting area, styled in a contemporary design with apex windows, a sofa and a wall-mounted Smart TV, so you won’t be short of entertainment options. Retire to the sumptuous bedroom for a restful night sleep, originally used as a bridal suite with a generous en-suite bathroom – choose from the luxurious roll-top bath or double walk-in shower to prepare for your day. The bedroom is open-plan to the sitting area but can close off from the kitchen for privacy. On the second floor you will find a delightful twin bedroom which is the perfect choice for children. Take a refreshing drink out to the patio to enjoy a spot of alfresco dining whilst admiring the scenery. While you're in the area, travel into the centre of Macclesfield for access to its traditional pubs and restaurants if you don't fancy cooking yourself. For the more active, explore the beautiful Peak District National Park for a number of walking and cycling opportunities.
