Attached to its neighbour, Little Barn, and next door to the owners’ home and stables, it’s a perfect location for a rural getaway suitable for a small family or a group of friends. The property benefits from being set all on the ground floor, with an open-plan living space providing several areas to relax in, decorated in a simple but elegant décor. The kitchen offers several appliances for cooking up a delicious evening meal, which you can serve up either at the breakfast bar or at the dining table. Enjoy your favourite TV show while you spread out on one of the two plush sofas, or simply read the latest best seller that you bought just for this holiday. Open up the doors to the south-facing patio and relax with a drink in the evening sun, enjoying endless beautiful sunsets. When it’s time to retreat to your bedroom for some rest, choose from either the double room or the twin room, both providing tranquil sleeping spots and offering ample storage for your belongings. Explore the outside surroundings, walk along the long sweeping drive next to the paddocks with horses, or wander through the garden past the pond. Venture further out and into the Cranborne Chase AONB where you will enjoy wonderful days of walks and rambles experiencing beautiful scenery. Visit Stourhead, a palladian mansion and world famous landscape garden run by the National Trust, north of Willow Barn and offering a lovely day out. The town of Wincanton is a lively and sweet town. There are many shops and is home to a golf course and the Wincanton Races. Willow Barn is a fantastic country home perfect for a trip to Somerset at any time of year.
