Location Details

Criccieth is a lovely seaside town dominated by its headland medieval fortress overlooking the sea and the town. Resting in North Wales, Criccieth lies near to the Snowdonia National Park and sits between Porthmadog and Pwllheli. The town is host to a number of shops and pubs, as well as a beach made up of sand and shingle and popular with families thanks to the shelter from the winds provided by the headland.

Famous for its choirs, stunning mountain ranges and beautiful valleys, this wonderful country has something for everyone. From Snowdonia in North Wales to the Brecon Beacons and the Pembrokeshire Coast in the South.

Reviews

Beautiful location, and friendly owners. Lovely kitchen and bathroom fixtures. Place is very small, when you walk in you are in the lounge, which is connected with kitchen, without a door (for us, not ideal as smell of cooking goes through the whole place). 2 seater recliner sofa is really comfy, but didnt feel private since the front door is all glass so guest/owners can see you sat on the sofa or going in/out bathroom. Bedroom was basic and had essentials but bed was really uncomfortable and pillows were flat, but stacking 2 gave neck ache). Lovely garden, and we enjoyed the hot tub every day. Owner left homemade fruit loaf, prosecco and milk on arrival, ehich was a lovely touch. Overall good stay but perhaps overpriced for what it is.

We had a very pleasant stay, The owners were very nice! It was lovely meeting them. The welcome milk & baked cake was well and truly thoughtful! & the hot tub was very relaxing! Highly recommend for anyone looking for a lovely clean cottage!

We booked very late the night before our stay, we received an email from the owners with instructions, when we arrived early everything was ready for our stay what a very attractive and modern little cottage they had thought about everything to make our stay very comfortable and the personal little touches like Prosecco, flowers and home made fruit love was amazing, the location was perfect for a chilled out stay and after visiting the local sites arriving back on a night to a hot tub was the perfect way to end the day Nicola and John went above and beyond to ensure we had everything, working in the hospitality industry for over 20 years you both should be very proud of this and good luck with the other cottages can’t wait to come back
