With rolling hills and the stunning Lake Windermere on your doorstep, Keepers Cottage is a fabulous choice for families seeking an active holiday but with all the relaxation of a Lake District cottage. Return to this hub after a day of following footpaths and whip up a magnificent feast from the kitchen, complete with a choice of appliances to assist you, plus a large dining area where all can gather. The sitting room offers plenty of seating courtesy of the sumptuous corner sofa, along with an alluring woodburning stove and a Smart TV to provide ample entertainment. Suitable for those with limited mobility, on the ground floor are two bedrooms, comprising of a double and twin, and a large shower room. Upstairs plays host to three bedrooms, including a king-size double with a en-suite and picturesque views over the tarn, plus two attractive twins which are perfect for children. Enjoy sitting in the patio garden and taking in the blissful scenery with only the sound of chirping birds to disturb the quiet. Patio with seating. Two well-behaved dogs welcome. Graythwaite fishery is free for all guests and equipment can be hired locally, a small fee is applicable to keep your catch, rod fishing license required. Sorry, no smoking. Shop 12.1 miles, pub 2.7 miles. The swimming pool can be booked for 45 minute private sessions,all guests can pre-book up to a maximum of 3 swimming slots ( or 2 slots for short stays 2 and 3 nights ) 7 days prior to arrival by contacting [email protected]
