Location Details

Sligo is a coastal port and county town of County Sligo, being the second largest urban centre in the West of Ireland. Offering many pubs, shops and restaurants and a bustling community and hub, this town won't fail to entertain. As well as benefiting from the lively centre, you can explore the Atlantic Sea with boat trips and surfing or head into the Sligo mountains for some spectacular scenery.

The West of Ireland conjures up many images; thatched, whitewashed cottages, a flock of sheep on a narrow road, an emerald green field with a stone wall, or the Atlantic waves crashing into towering cliffs and rocky shores.

Reviews

We stayed at the Old Byre in September 2021. We had an amazing time! The Old Byre is so comfortable with a well equipt kitchen and beautiful views of Ben Bulben. Chris and Lynn were amazing hosts, they made us feel like family, it was a wonderful week. We are excited to be returning next month for another visit and just can't wait to be back in Sligo.
