The main house has five bedrooms: one ground-floor super-king-size (zip/link) with en-suite shower room, one first-floor family room with super-king-size (zip/link) and single with en-suite shower room, two first-floor super-king-sizes (zip/link) and one twin. The annexe property comes with a family room with a double and single bed, altogether sleeping a total of 14 guests. The main house has a ground-floor shower room and first-floor bathroom to served, with a kitchen/diner, utility cupboard, dining area, sitting room with a woodburning stove and a games room. The annexe comes with an en-suite shower room, kitchen, sitting room and conservatory. Both properties share a large lawned garden and patio area with furniture, with ample off-road parking. Linton is a wonderful village from which to explore Cambridgeshire, with a good selection of cuisines to choose from, local shops, an art gallery and even a zoo, providing fun for all ages. Cambridge can be found within easy reach, boasting a vibrant culture with its museums and art galleries as well as its prestigious university, it's well-worth a visit to experience it's breath-taking architecture. In easy reach of Bury St Edmund's too, you can find an abundance of fun on your doorstep whilst holidaying in Linton.

It was a lovely house perfect for a huge family vacation. Lovely back garden games room etc howvever our 4night stay was cut short to two nights as this house was infested with bed bugs. We discovered it on the second night when we noticed several bites on our skin. The itching became unbearable and we initially thought it was mosquitos. After the itching became severe and painful we became more suspicious of the beds. My arm started to swell up and mosquito bites does not normally look like that. It was 4 am and we found bed bugs on both the beds of that room and more in the other rooms as well. My 4 year old child was sleeping on one whilst it was crawling. They were visible to the naked eye which means they were there for a long time. We immediately informed the owner and sykes cottages as we booked it through them and we left the property as soon as possible. However the owner has refused to issue a refund. This experience was very unpleasant and uncomfortable, and truly the worst night and experience of my life. It was my first family cottage holiday and now I will never be able to trust cottage holidays again. we would like to ensure that this does not happen to anyone else so if you wana book this cottage I'd be well aware.
