This property is just as suitable for friends as it is for families, its superb layout is ideal and its location to the village of Cark-in-Cartmel gives access to some excellent pubs, which make it exceptional. Enter into the spacious open-plan living space, with a large corner sofa to cosy up under a blanket with the provided TV as your entertainment. There is a small desk area, ideal for studying, reading or planning the day's events at, with a bookcase holding a selection of books and board games for those quieter evenings. The sitting room benefits from a set of patio doors, which look out over the garden and add an abundance of natural light to the property. The kitchen has a set of wooden units and sleek granite worktops, holding all the necessary appliances for rustling up some home-cooked meals, with a dining area to accompany and where you can toast to a wonderful holiday. Step out to the rear enclosed patio area where you can sit during the summer months with a refreshing drink, there is also a shed in the garden which can be used for storage of outdoor items and there is a BBQ too. Cark-in-Cartmel is an excellent village with a convenience store for picking up any last-minute ingredients for an evening meal, or some pubs and restaurants if you don't fancy cooking one evening. Discover the 400-year-old Holker Hall and Gardens, the home of Lord and Lady Cavendish, perfect for exploring at any time of year. The cottage also benefits from being close to the beautiful Lake District National Park, where you can explore many rural sites with your four-legged friend by your side. Lake Windermere is hugely popular for a variety of watersporting opportunities, particularly sailing, fishing and kayaking. The Lake District gives access to a number of bustling towns such as Kendal, Bowness-on-Windermere, Ambleside and Keswick, all rich with tourist attractions.
